GlyphPilot is an Android app for creating, previewing, sharing, and running Glyph Matrix patterns, audio-reactive Glyph toys, widgets, and automations on supported Nothing phones. Most creator data is processed on your device. Cloud features are used only for account sign-in, community/social features, app hosting, advertising, and Google Play purchases.
Depending on which features you use, GlyphPilot may process Glyph drawings, animations, saved projects, imported images, imported audio file references, microphone audio levels, sensor events, notification events, foreground app package names, Firebase account identifiers, community likes, purchase state, ad consent state, and device/app diagnostics needed to keep the app working.
Glyph drawings, local animation projects, audio-reactive rendering, ringtone selection, widget output, and most automation settings are stored and processed on your device. Imported audio is used from the local Android document URI selected by you. GlyphPilot does not upload your imported audio files, microphone recordings, notification content, or local projects to our server for normal local use.
Microphone access is requested only when you start a feature that needs live audio levels, such as Music Sync. Sound-to-Glyph uses audio files you choose through Android's file picker. When you tap a ringtone action, Android may ask you to grant system settings permission before the app can set a device ringtone. You can revoke these permissions in Android settings.
Notification Access is optional and is used only when you enable Glyph notification blink or notification automations. Accessibility access is optional and is used only for app-launch/app-icon automation. The Accessibility service is intended to read app/window change events and foreground package names for Glyph output. It is not intended to read, store, or transmit screen text, passwords, payment details, messages, or private content.
If you sign in, Firebase Authentication processes your sign-in identifier and provider credentials. Cloud Firestore may store your Firebase user ID, account timestamps, community like markers, aggregate like counts, and Glyph content you intentionally publish or share through community features. Public or shared content may be visible to other users.
Free users may choose to watch rewarded ads to unlock a temporary Creator Pass. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Google and its partners may process device identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, consent choices, and other data described by Google to provide, measure, personalize where permitted, and prevent fraud in ads. Rewarded ads are user-initiated; Lifetime Pro users are intended to be ad-free.
GlyphPilot offers an optional one-time in-app purchase, currently named GlyphPilot Lifetime Pro. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. The app stores entitlement state locally and may query Google Play to restore purchases.
When you use sharing features, Android's share sheet may send the selected text, link, image, or Glyph gift data to the app or person you choose. Glyph gift links may encode the Glyph animation data needed for another user to import the gift.
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Firebase account and community data remains until you delete your account, remove the content where supported, or request deletion. Some records may be retained longer if required for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
You can use many local features without signing in. You can revoke Android permissions, stop automations, turn off widgets, sign out, delete local app data, or delete your account. To delete account data, use Profile > Manage Account in the app or visit the account deletion page.
GlyphPilot is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
We use platform security controls, Firebase security rules, HTTPS, and Google Play/Firebase infrastructure. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so you should avoid publishing private or sensitive Glyph content.
We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above shows the latest version. Material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate.
